Ancient History School is written by Amanda O'Neill, a senior ancient history teacher at an all-girls school in Queensland, Australia. The website aims to highlight the relevance of  the study of ancient history in the modern world. At times, it may have a gender bias as I am passionate about privileging the silenced voices of women.

Currently, I am planning and developing a new syllabus. I am taking the opportunity to look for new resources, network with other educational institutions and launch into my own professional development program.  I will be presenting at the QHTA Conference in June and attending other national history conferences throughout the year.
