A great opportunity for Ancient History teachers and archaeology students/dilettantes.

The highly qualified team will be at Kerry Lodge site in Tasmania from 15 April 2018-22 April 2018 conducting fieldwork at a genuine archaeological excavation. Kerry Lodge Bridge and Probation Station was established in 1834 and was used until 1847. approximately 34 convicts resided and worked at the site during the years it was opened.

Previous excavations have revealed some interesting and exciting artifacts, revealing much about life in convict Tasmania.
